Wales Victorious

Ryan Jones, captain for Wales, had plenty of reason to celebrate this past Saturday. After going through the personal trials and tribulations of injuries for the past three years, Jones successfully guided his team to a Six Nations Grand Slam. Secured with a convincing victory over France, the Grand Slam is the second for the Welsh in three years.
Dominating fly-half play and French mistakes secured the win for the Welsh, with Stephen Jones and James Hook kicking for a combined total of 19 points. Martyn and Shane Williams gave Wales the only tries of the match.
The win certainly heightens the expectations for the Welsh squad, who are still a little bitter after a very disappointing 2007 IRB World Cup campaign.
