Dawgs Win the SEC
In what has to be the most unlikely and satisfying Cinderella story of this year’s college basketball season, the once-awful Georgia Bulldogs secured an SEC title with a win over Arkansas yesterday. Georgia beat three teams in four days in order to go from worst in the conference to hoisting the conference championship trophy. Georgia now moves on to the task of facing Xavier in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Though many analysts and fans alike don’t expect the bulldogs to go deep in the post-season, the championship feat remains a great story of dedication and determination.
